We had an excellent experience on the Alishan tour. The itinerary was well planned, allowing us to enjoy the scenic mountain views, forests, and iconic Alishan highlights without feeling rushed. The guide, Mr. Katsu (卡子）called everyone one day before tour to make sure we arrive at the right place. He was knowledgeable, professional, energetic and attentive, providing clear explanations about the history, nature, and culture of Alishan while ensuring everyone stayed on schedule. Timing at each stop was thoughtfully managed, giving us enough time for photos and appreciation of the surroundings. Moreover, he took ~100 photo for us and even make us a video. Overall, this 1-day tour was very well run and offered great value. I would highly recommend the Alishan tour to anyone looking for a convenient, enjoyable, and memorable way to experience this beautiful region.

The process is easy. The staff are helpful, there are no hidden costs, and the car is new and performs excellently. When I return to Taiwan, I will rent from the same company.

It was great to travel to Gaomei Wetlands with this travel package! The lady driver picked us up from Miyahara, which was a short walk from our hotel. Drove us to Gaomei Wetlands and even had the option to be dropped at Fengjia Night Market. Nice chatty person who recommended places to visit along the way. The place was very very cold due to the endless wind. So bring a thicker jacket if you are not used to cold climates in Dec. During the drive back we all slept. Slightly pricey so -1 star for that. It’s possible to find cheaper drivers locally with recommendations from local taxi drivers.

Board the bus from the Nantou Bus Gancheng bus stop. On the way there, you'll be given a numbered ticket. If the bus is full, you'll have to take the next one, so if you want to catch a bus departing at your desired time, try to get there early. I arrived 30 minutes before departure and got number 20 on my numbered ticket. On the way back, I boarded at Shuishe, but there was no numbered ticket. Bus stops are divided by identification numbers such as 6670, and you can board on a first-come, first-served basis. The number of people in line is counted, and if the bus is full, you'll be directed to the next bus, so if you have a bus you want, it's best to get there early. I used the bus on a weekday, Monday, and it was full both on the way there and back. It was my first time using it, so I was a bit confused and didn't know how to use it, but once you understand, it's a very convenient and comfortable tour.

The first thing that surprised me was how simple it was from purchasing in advance to receiving the ticket. After paying online, you can get your ticket in no time by simply presenting your passport at the station, so even first-time travelers can use it without any hesitation. The discount rate was very noticeable, and even traveling from Taipei to Taichung and Tainan saved more than I expected. The interior of the train was quiet and clean, the ride was comfortable, and the travel time was also a nice plus. Some tickets have restrictions on changes, so it is best suited to people with a set itinerary, but it offers an excellent balance of cost-effectiveness and convenience, making it a service that I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to travel Taiwan efficiently.
