You will be provided with a special yukata (robe) for your Ganbanyoku experience. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable undergarments or going without, to ensure complete relaxation and effective sweating. Wearing regular underwear under the yukata may affect sweat-inducing benefits and overall comfort. For hygiene reasons, please wear underwear.
Taichung Ganbanyoku features co-ed areas for the Ganbanyoku experience and relaxation spaces, including our five themed rooms, manga reading area, and the tranquil starlight room. You can enjoy a relaxing time here with friends and family. Changing rooms, shower areas, and individual restrooms are separate for men and women to ensure personal privacy for all guests.
For your first visit to Taichung Ganbanyoku, we recommend checking in at the counter and receiving your yukata. Afterward, proceed to the changing room to change. Before entering the Ganbanyoku rooms, it's advised to shower and cleanse your body. Then, choose your preferred themed Ganbanyoku space, such as the 'Hot Sweat Room' or 'Starlight Room,' to enjoy the warm sweating process. Remember to stay hydrated during your session. You can also relax in the rest area, read manga, or take a nap to fully experience our five themed rooms.
Taichung Ganbanyoku offers various relaxation spaces perfect for resting or napping during your experience. We have a starlight room, comfortable individual pods, and a spacious manga reading corner, all designed for you to completely unwind and recharge after your Ganbanyoku session.
