THSR 2-Day & 3-Day Pass | For Foreign Travelers Only

－ Redemption Method －

• Step.1
  Orders cannot be modified once placed. Please provide the full English name, gender, date of birth, passport number, and nationality as shown on the passport when booking. Children under 6 years old who do not occupy a seat do not need a ticket.
• Step.2
  Once the booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with an attachment containing your e-ticket with a redemption code. The e-ticket is valid for redemption and travel within 89 days starting from the day after the purchase date.
• Step.3
  Please use the redemption code in the email attachment to make an online reservation for the date, train number, and time on the THSR Pass Official Website under 'Manage Booking'. Reservations can be made for dates within 29 days from the current date (00:00). Every Friday and Saturday, you can reserve up to four weeks ahead until Sunday (based on Taiwan time). After completing the reservation, you will receive a reservation code, which is required for ticket collection.
  Example 1: If Passenger A redeems on 2021/01/04 (Mon), the first day of travel can be scheduled up to 2021/02/01 (Mon).
  Example 2: If Passenger B redeems on 2021/01/08 (Fri), the first day of travel can be scheduled up to 2021/02/07 (Sun).
  Step.4
• When traveling, please go to the 'THSR Ticket Counter' and present your reservation code, original passport, and proof of entry (such as a visa or entry permit for short-term stays) to redeem your physical ticket on-site. If you have not made an online reservation, the THSR ticket counter staff can assist you with booking.
  Travelers who purchased the THSR & TRA Joint Pass can redeem their travel dates and collect physical tickets at designated TRA stations (Songshan, Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung) in addition to any THSR station.
  
• Step.5
  When entering the station, please use the 'Manual Ticket Gate' and keep your identification documents with you for inspection.

* If you entered your Taiwan Entry Permit number during booking, you must present the original Taiwan Entry Permit on-site; if you entered your passport number, you must present your original passport.
* The THSR Pass Official Website only allows booking up to 5 THSR train rides per serial number (including those already taken). If you need to book a 6th ride or more, please do so at the physical THSR station counter.
* Travelers holding a THSR & TRA Joint Pass must collect a boarding pass at any TRA station before boarding a TRA train.
* TRA seat reservations can only be made at TRA ticket counters; online booking for TRA is not available.

－ THSR Pass Redemption Process －

【Reservation Process】

• Step 1. Visit the THSR Pass Official Website ➔ Click on the language selection in the top right corner ➔ Click 'Manage Booking' in the top right corner.
• Step 2. Click 'Inquiry by Order Number' ➔ Enter your 'Voucher Number' and 'Passport Number' (information must match the passenger details submitted at the time of booking).
• Step 3. Select the passengers for this redemption ➔ Click 'Redeem' ➔ If you purchased a 'THSR 3-Day Pass', please select the first day of travel / For a 'THSR Flexible 2-Day Pass', please select the first day and the second day of travel.
• Step 3. Select the passengers for this reservation ➔ Click 'Reserve' ➔ Select the 'Travel Date' and 'Travel Time'.
• Step 4. Select your train (you may check other time slots for earlier or later trains) ➔ Click 'Confirm Train' ➔ Reservation complete.
• Note: Each serial number is limited to 5 train reservations online. If you need more, please visit a physical THSR station counter. If you need to change your itinerary, please do so at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of the original train. Changes cannot be processed after this time.
  
  

【Cancel Reservation】

• Step 1. Please go to the THSR Pass Official Website online at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of your selected train ➔ Click on the language selection in the top right corner ➔ Click 'Manage Booking' in the top right corner.
• Step 2. Click 'Inquiry by Order Number' ➔ Enter your 'Voucher Number' and 'Passport Number' (information must match the passenger details submitted at the time of booking).
• Step 3. Select the passengers for this cancellation ➔ Click 'Cancel Reservation' ➔ Click 'Confirm'.
• Note: Cancellations and refunds are not available within 30 minutes before the scheduled departure of the selected train. Once a reserved seat is cancelled, you may re-select a travel date or proceed with a refund request.
  
  
  
  

－ THSR Pass Refund Policy －

• If you need a refund before making an online reservation, please click 'Cancel Order' in your KKday order management before the refund deadline. Refunds will not be processed after the deadline.
• If you need a refund after making an online reservation, please first complete the cancellation process on the THSR Pass Official Website, then click 'Cancel Order' in your KKday order management before the refund deadline. Refunds will not be processed after the deadline.
• Refunds are not accepted once the physical ticket has been redeemed.
• If you have not made any seat reservations on the first day of travel, have only used non-reserved seats throughout, and have not collected the physical ticket book, you must cancel the redemption on the THSR Pass website before 23:59 on the first day of travel to be eligible to apply for an order cancellation.
