The Kenting day trip was well worth it. It solved the transportation problem for tourists and allowed us to see and experience the most beautiful and best attractions in the Kenting area. Our guide, Brother Wei, provided excellent service and was extremely familiar with Kenting. He gave us a detailed explanation of the area's history and culture, making it a happy and unforgettable day.
This shared tour was great value. Besides the 9-seater Benz, the driver also acted as a tour guide, accompanying us throughout the entire trip, providing commentary, and even finding great angles to take photos for us – the photos turned out beautifully. Luckily, the weather was nice that day. We ate at a famous tin box bento box restaurant along the way and finally rode a miniature train. Because some sections of the road have many curves, it's recommended that those prone to motion sickness take motion sickness medication beforehand.
I was surprised to encounter a bilingual (Chinese and English) tour guide on this trip to Tainan. Many members of the group were from different countries traveling to Tainan, Taiwan. The tour guide was very responsible in providing explanations and tours, and his professionalism was excellent. His English proficiency also greatly improved the quality of the tour. The driver was also very steady and safe. The company should give him more praise, and I hope to have the opportunity to join other tours in the future!
Ease of booking (KKday's usability) Pros: The procedure was easy to complete in Japanese, and the purchasing process was smooth. I was able to get a good deal at a discounted price (stating the discount rate or specific amount would be more convincing). Were there flexible options for seat selection and time changes when booking (if you used this service)? Was it easy to enter the required information, such as your passport number? Concerns (if any): Were there any issues with using the website or app? Was it time-consuming or confusing to issue or collect your voucher? 🎫 Ticket collection and redemption Pros: It was very easy to redeem your ticket at the station (did you use the counter or the automatic ticket machine?). Was it enough to just present your electronic voucher (the booking confirmation you received by email)? Was the waiting time for redemption short? Concerns (if any): It was difficult to find the redemption location, or the counter was crowded, etc. Did you experience any language barriers when redeeming your ticket (whether Japanese was available or not)? 🚅 What was good about your experience riding the Taiwan High Speed Rail? The interior of the train was clean and comfortable. The seats were spacious, so I didn't feel tired even on long journeys. The train ran on time, allowing for a smooth journey. I enjoyed the scenery from the train window, and other specific impressions. What were your concerns (if any): Inconveniences with the onboard services (Wi-Fi, food and drink, etc.). Dissatisfaction with the environment, such as the air conditioning being too strong.
There is now a great option for traveling from Tainan to Kaohsiung Airport. The price is affordable and the driver is very friendly. I hope that more time and stops can be added.
