If you are a customer who has set up a mobile phone protection service, you must unlock the SIM card and deactivate the mobile phone protection service at your mobile carrier's customer service center or on their website in order to use the service.
After purchase, product information (QR code) will be sent via email and KakaoTalk notification. Exchanges and refunds are not possible after the QR code is sent or scanned.
To register the eSIM product you purchased on your device, you must have data available (cellular network or Wi-Fi connection mode).
If you delete the registered cellular plan after scanning the QR code, eSIM cannot be used, so please maintain the plan until use is terminated.
It can be pre-installed at the departure location and the usage period starts from the time of connection to the destination network.
If possible, turn off data roaming for your domestic telecommunications company before leaving the country. (Incorrect operation may result in roaming charges overseas.)
Depending on the communication environment of the local telecommunications company, data usage may not be smooth in some areas, and depending on the model used, if the frequency band does not match that of the local telecommunications company, it may connect to 3G or 2G.
The terms and conditions of the telecommunications company that provides the service apply and product options (data provision, number of days of use, promotions, etc.) may change without prior notice.
Once deleted, eSIM cannot be rescanned or recovered. If you are unable to use the service due to your own negligence or lack of understanding of the usage instructions, as above, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Exchanges and refunds are not possible after the QR code has been sent or scanned.
In case of unavailability due to local telecommunications company network maintenance, natural disaster, or other reasons, no refund will be made.

Once activated, it connects you to local telecommunications networks, such as Smart, XL (Excelcom), Celcom, Singtel, or Truemove in Southeast Asia, providing data services at up to 4G speeds. You simply scan a QR code or enter activation details, and your device is ready for internet access, allowing for flexible data plans without physically swapping cards.
For extensive multi-country travel in Southeast Asia, an Asia eSIM that supports multiple local telecommunication networks like Smart, XL (Excelcom), Celcom, Singtel, and Truemove is highly recommended. Yes, many Asia eSIM plans are specifically designed for data-only services. This means you can enjoy internet access, messaging apps, and VoIP calls without acquiring a local phone number. These plans are ideal for travelers who primarily need data for navigation, communication, and browsing, and prefer to keep their primary phone number active for calls and texts from home.
Potential disadvantages of using an Asia eSIM include device compatibility limitations, as not all smartphones support eSIM technology. Activation can sometimes be challenging if initial internet access is unavailable, or if instructions are unclear. Additionally, some users might find managing multiple eSIM profiles confusing, and certain data-only plans may not include a local phone number for calls or SMS services.
An Asia eSIM is definitely worthwhile for short trips or infrequent travel in Southeast Asia. It offers significant convenience by eliminating the need to search for local SIM cards upon arrival or deal with physical card swaps. You can pre-purchase and activate your plan before departure, ensuring immediate connectivity as soon as you land. This saves time and effort, making it a hassle-free solution for staying connected during your travels.
An Asia eSIM is a digital Subscriber Identity Module embedded directly into your device, allowing you to activate a mobile plan electronically.
