The price was high, but the convenience was undeniable. They picked me up from the hotel, and while the driver was a bit reserved and didn't say much, it was still acceptable – at least he didn't try to strike up a conversation, which could have been awkward. Highway tolls and parking fees were added, so the actual price was a bit higher. It was a great travel experience, saving me the hassle of queuing, transferring, and parking; I could just get out and start exploring.
Station locker is on the right side of the station when exiting. The taxi service pick up directly from the station and drop off right at the Ginzan entrance without any walking. We had two hour to sightseeing and the taxi will pick up at the drop off location. My reservation time is 3:30 to 6:30, and from 4-6 during winter, you can enjoy both day and night scenery.
Although the journey was long and the itinerary was fulfilling, I look forward to returning sometime to experience what was missing. I was very fortunate to have a warm and responsible tour guide (Tommy), which made our trip unforgettable. Thank you!
Lunch was simple yet plentiful, and the arrangements were quick and efficient, requiring no waiting, especially considering there were over 30 people in our group. The restaurant was spacious, and our tour guide thoughtfully reminded us of important details! The tour bus was spacious, comfortable, and clean! I've participated in many KKday Japan one-day tours, and each one has never disappointed me! 👍👍👍
Matsushima is beautiful; if you go in the afternoon, you can see the sunset, making for a wonderful travel experience.
