This trip involved traveling between the airport and Osaka, and between Osaka and Kanazawa. We reserved seats at the stations. JR stations have many routes, so we needed to allow plenty of time to walk to the platform. Moving between stations required good observation skills and stamina. Overall, it was like a level game, but thankfully everything went smoothly. The ticket price was definitely worth it!
The travel pass made our journey from Shinjuku to Karuizawa very convenient. We actually had to change trains several times along the way, but the pass was valid for all of them, which was very efficient and economical. We are very grateful to the platform for having such a product that allows us to buy it in advance, plan our trip, and travel with ease.
You can go bobsleighing. It's a bit pricey, though. It's quite long with sharp curves, and you can adjust the speed, so even children can enjoy it. The Edelweiss restaurant also has a dining area for people with dogs, so it was reassuring for those bringing their dogs.
This is a beautiful art installation left over from the art season, well worth a visit. After viewing it, having a coffee at the riverside café is a very pleasant and satisfying experience.
It's convenient to buy tickets online and then exchange them for physical tickets at the port's ticket window.
