Because there were so many people, we were lucky enough to be part of a small group of Taiwanese people and travel in a small 9-seater vehicle. The customer service staff and our guide, Momo, were both very nice. Momo is Chinese, so our conversations in Mandarin were very smooth. She also shared information about transportation to Senaga Island, allowing us to get there smoothly even without prior planning. At each photo spot, she proactively took photos for us and even gave us DMM and ice cream coupons. It's a very comfortable option if you're not driving.
This was an activity I'd been wanting to try for a while. I booked it for Friday night, thinking there would be fewer cars, but it turned out there were actually quite a lot. I recommend booking during the day; the view is better, the scenery is more beautiful, and there's a chance of fewer cars. The 2-hour tour included a restroom break on Senaga Island. At first, I was a little scared because I wasn't familiar with the controls and the speed (it's quite powerful), but I got used to it later. The lead guide, Mr. HIRO, was very proactive in finding opportunities to take photos for us and would even switch positions so no one would be blocked. We communicated entirely in simple English, so there were no problems.
I arrived at American Village and spent the entire hour of free time on the beach. Relaxing and getting a nice tan! If only it weren't for the roar of the US military planes!
The driver was very nice and a skilled driver. Using the QR code for tickets was very convenient; at Okinawa World, you just scanned the code and got your ticket. The DM (Okinawa World) ticket counter required scanning the QR code, which was more troublesome as you needed to download the Okinawa app for the guided tour. The lunch break was only one hour, which was very short. Since other tour buses also went to the fish market, we had to buy lunch and find seats to eat as well. We almost missed the hour! Everything else was great.
