I had been hesitant about driving myself, but ultimately chose the KKday tour. It was a perfect decision – no need to worry about directions or road conditions, I left everything to the driver, and we even got to hear stories from the guide along the way. We only had a short time at some attractions, but that leaves room for future visits. I will definitely choose KKday again in the future.
Purchasing the "Naha LeaLea OKINAWA Bus Pass" through KKday was a very smooth experience overall. The bus routes are clearly planned, making it very convenient to travel between Naha city center, American Village, and the Kokusai Road intersection, saving time on transfers and transportation inquiries. The buses are comfortable, and the service is consistent, making it especially friendly to independent travelers. It allows for easy connections to popular attractions at a reasonable price, providing greater flexibility in itinerary planning, making it a practical choice for first-time visitors to Okinawa or those who don't want to drive.
The beach is crystal clear, and it's less crowded in winter, making it perfect for relaxing by the sea alone. Staying overnight on the island would also be wonderful.
The tour guide was very nice, and everyone was punctual. There are two easy-go tours, one for central Japan and one for northern Japan, so make sure to ask for the meeting point. The tour guide will also check the passenger list before boarding. Arrive early to avoid getting on the wrong bus. Seating is assigned, so please don't sit randomly. It rained heavily on January 1st, which unfortunately prevented us from taking many good photos of the outdoor scenery. Cape Manzamo was especially beautiful, but the heavy rain made it difficult. The aquarium was nice, but it was very crowded and uncomfortable during the Japanese New Year. If you're interested in American fashion, the last stop, American Village, has many authentic and high-quality clothing items, including fan-made American comic book costumes – you'll have plenty to choose from. Therefore, one hour isn't enough time to explore American Village. If you want to explore properly, you can leave the group and take a bus back to Naha city. I recommend choosing a weekday with good weather for the entire trip; it will be perfect. Otherwise, carrying an umbrella all the time can be quite inconvenient.
The perfect choice for those wanting to visit the North without a car! It's incredibly convenient to visit many attractions in one trip. The tour guide's itinerary was perfect! I was initially worried about not having enough time at the beautiful beach, and the only downside was missing the whale shark feeding time, but we did manage to see the dolphin show! A special thank you to the tour guide and driver on January 1st! Thank you for giving me such a wonderful memory at the start of 2026! And thank you to the travel agency (?) for carefully checking everything before the trip, which made me feel very reassured. I'll definitely consider them for my next family trip!
The driver was very nice, the trip had plenty of time so I wasn't worried about just rushing through, and the price was very cheap. The seats were comfortable and the space was large. I chose to get off at American Village, and afterwards I could take a bus back on my own.
