Otaru

We are so grateful to have encountered the beauty of the blue azure sea. And the cherry blossoms at Hokudo Shrine, and the sashimi rice bowl in Otaru. This trip was amazing! Of course, many thanks to our tour guide and the driver for their safe driving.

The driver arrived at the hotel at the designated date and time for pick-up and drop-off; the vehicle was very clean.

Our driver, Xiao Zhou, was very kind and considerate. We had left our jackets at the hotel, and he called the hotel to confirm first, then told us to go back and pick them up after we finished visiting the attractions. There was a long queue at the popular sushi restaurant, so he suggested we order takeout first, then take us to the outlet mall, where he would deliver the takeout to us.

It's a small aquarium, but the animals come right up to the glass, so it was fun to be able to interact with them through the glass. There were many creative activities, such as feeding the marine mammals and learning about the animals, which was great. Also, in the penguin time corner, you can't help but laugh at the unexpected behavior of the overly free-spirited penguins. I had a very enjoyable time.

Exchanging your QR code for a cable car ticket is very convenient; buying in advance is definitely the right thing to do. The scenery on the mountain is beautiful, and you can even see the night view. A highly recommended attraction!

Pick up your travel pass directly at the Foreign Tourist Information Center at New Chitose Airport. Ask the staff to reserve seats for all your future travels at the same time. You can then use the travel pass to travel directly from the airport to Sapporo, Asahikawa, Biei, Furano, and Otaru without having to buy tickets again. It's very convenient and cost-effective. The staff at the tourist information center are patient and friendly, so I highly recommend using it.

The 20GB bandwidth for 7 days was more than enough. The internet connection was also very stable; I'll definitely choose it again next time I travel abroad.
