Taiwan High Speed Rail Ticket for Foreigners [Buy 1 Get 1 Free]
2025/10/29
Ease of booking (KKday's usability) Pros: The procedure was easy to complete in Japanese, and the purchasing process was smooth. I was able to get a good deal at a discounted price (stating the discount rate or specific amount would be more convincing). Were there flexible options for seat selection and time changes when booking (if you used this service)? Was it easy to enter the required information, such as your passport number? Concerns (if any): Were there any issues with using the website or app? Was it time-consuming or confusing to issue or collect your voucher? 🎫 Ticket collection and redemption Pros: It was very easy to redeem your ticket at the station (did you use the counter or the automatic ticket machine?). Was it enough to just present your electronic voucher (the booking confirmation you received by email)? Was the waiting time for redemption short? Concerns (if any): It was difficult to find the redemption location, or the counter was crowded, etc. Did you experience any language barriers when redeeming your ticket (whether Japanese was available or not)? 🚅 What was good about your experience riding the Taiwan High Speed Rail? The interior of the train was clean and comfortable. The seats were spacious, so I didn't feel tired even on long journeys. The train ran on time, allowing for a smooth journey. I enjoyed the scenery from the train window, and other specific impressions. What were your concerns (if any): Inconveniences with the onboard services (Wi-Fi, food and drink, etc.). Dissatisfaction with the environment, such as the air conditioning being too strong.

[Jiufen Tea House Recommendation] Skyline Tea House in Jiufen, New Taipei | Enjoy Afternoon Tea with Scenic Mountain City Views
2025/10/20
I made a reservation for 17:30 (sunset) on Friday, October 17th. I arrived 15 minutes early, but there was a huge queue! I showed my voucher and was seated right away. What's more, I was seated in a corner seat on the terrace! It was amazing! The staff patiently taught me how to make tea, and I had so many laughs. It was so beautiful watching the lanterns light up as the sun gradually got darker while I was looking out at the ocean at dusk. The tea was delicious, and I was able to relax. I'm so glad I made a reservation!

Taoyuan Airport Private Transfer|Meet & Greet + eSIM Offer
2025/10/17
After confirming our name list with the KKDay staff upon arrival, they immediately dispatched a car. The ride from arrival to boarding was quick and comfortable. My suggestion is that they'd like a larger, more prominent KKDay sign to help us find the staff more quickly. Upon arrival, we were told to leave the airport quickly and avoid lingering, so we didn't have time to see where the KKDay staff were. A prominent light blue KKDay sign or flag would have made it much easier to find the staff. The price is reasonable, and I'll definitely use this airport shuttle again.

[Includes 1-Person Guarantee Option] North Coast One-Day Tour|Jiufen & Yehliu & Shifen & A-Mei Teahouse & Golden Waterfall|Day & Night Multilingual Service|Guaranteed Departure|2026 Taipei’s Most HIGH New Year Celebration
2025/10/15
This was my first time in Taiwan. Traveling with five girls, I had many concerns, so I researched this highly rated tour beforehand and decided to join it. Since it was such a special occasion, I decided to take the C Tour, which offered a full day of sightseeing. On the day, the five of us shared the ride with another family (maybe locals). The car was not cramped at all and there was little swaying, so it was so comfortable that my friend, who suffers from motion sickness, said she didn't even notice. I actually sat in the middle of the back seat, but it was so spacious and comfortable that I slept soundly throughout the entire trip. Our driver and guide, Mr. Okuma, was very kind and even went out of his way to use a translation app to guide us, even though we were Japanese. He also took lots of beautiful photos with his iPhone, which was very much appreciated. We also added the Amei Teahouse experience, but there was so much tea that we couldn't finish it all while visiting the other shops. The snacks were delicious, and the staff were very kind. While the lantern-releasing event wasn't on the train tracks, I was happy to see it in a more beautiful setting than the tracks. What's more, they even took the time to take photos on both our phones and Okuma's phone...we really appreciate it. If you join the LINE group listed in the contact information beforehand, they will send you a Japanese translation of the guide and add the photos they took to your album, which is very convenient. I think it's a good idea to contact them if you have any questions on the day. It was my first time in Taiwan, so I had a lot of worries, but my friends were really happy and said it was a good idea to join this tour. I would highly recommend this to anyone new to Taiwan!

Taipingshan Day Tour from Taipei or Yilan: Bong Bong Train, Jianqing Historic Trail & Jiuzhize Hot Springs | English Service [Guaranteed Departure for Two Travelers]
2025/10/14
We visited Taipingshan, the Jianqing Nostalgic Trail, and Jiuzhize Temperature Range, all in one day. Buses wouldn't have been enough to cover all of these. The scenery was stunning, and the staff provided brief introductions to each spot and even offered to help with photos. It was fantastic! Meeting at Taipei Main Station was very convenient.

Taiwan's North Coast One-Day Trip: Yeliu, Jiufen, Shifen, Dessert DIY (Includes Tickets, Sky Lanterns)
2025/10/10
I highly recommend this day trip! Our tour guide, Jeff, was incredibly professional and thoughtful. 💖 In Yehliu, he clearly pointed out the best photo spots and areas to explore quickly. The itinerary was incredibly smooth and time-saving. 📸 When we were releasing the sky lanterns in Shifen Old Street, he efficiently divided us into groups and explained the process clearly without any delay. He also reminded us that the sky lanterns are collected by designated personnel, making our trip a safe and enjoyable one. 🎈 Jiufen was a highlight! ✨ Jeff vividly explained the origins of Jiufen and its gold mining days, and even shared must-try food and hidden gems at every stall along the way. 🍡 He mentioned that their platform is the only one that doesn't require climbing 500 steps, which was incredibly thoughtful! Finally, we had the opportunity to try making handmade pineapple cakes. 🥮 This was also included in the itinerary at no extra cost! Jeff also mentioned that their prices were the best on the entire platform, as other websites charge extra for the same content. It was truly worth the money. 💰 The entire trip was filled with laughter and rich information. Jeff also interspersed many interesting Taiwan stories, making the whole journey fun and heartwarming. 🥰 The only regret was that I didn't have enough cash on me, so I couldn't give a good tip to this attentive tour guide. 💸 I'll definitely be prepared to join his tour again next time. Highly recommended! 👏💗

[Guaranteed Departure for 2] Yangmingshan & Beitou Day Tour: Qingtiangang Grassland, Bamboo Lake's Calla Lily, Hydrangea & Daylily Seasons, Xiaoyoukeng, Lengshuikeng Shrimp Fishing, Beitou Hot Spring | 2026 Taipei New Year's Eve Countdown Party
2025/10/07
It's very convenient because you don't have to drive or wait for the bus. It's perfect for nature lovers. Yangmingshan has good air. Xiaoyoukeng is cool and sells rice burgers. Lengshuikeng has seating for you to rest after ordering. The American Military Club is quite beautiful. The fried food and ice cream we ordered for afternoon tea were both delicious. There are several coffee shops nearby, and the driver and guide will introduce them along the way. If you have the chance, you can go hiking or watch the night view. Finally, have dinner at Shilin Night Market. It's a fulfilling day.
