However, previously, with the High-Speed ​​Rail 3-day pass, I could reserve a seat at the ticket counter, but this time they only let me reserve a seat when I picked up the pass, and I was told that I had to reserve seats in advance afterward and that I could only ride in unreserved seats. I used unreserved seats from the second day onward. The High-Speed ​​Rail website that provides the pass does indeed say that unreserved seats are available, but kkd a y's instructions said that you could reserve seats at the ticket counter. I was glad I was able to get a seat in the unreserved section this time.

I used this service to get to Alishan Station. I went all the way to the final station, but it was great to know that you can also get off at other tourist spots along the way, such as Eryan Mountain, and then get back on.
