  • JR West All Area Pass
    Take unlimited rides on the following designated trains within the designated valid period of 7 consecutive days:
  1. Reserved seats on the Sanyo Shinkansen (ordinary train reserved seats) (Shin-Osaka–Hakata)
    ** Valid for "Hello Kitty Shinkansen"
  2. Hokuriku Shinkansen (Tsuruga–Joetsu-Myoko)
    ** Not applicable between Conventional Line Tsuruga and Kanazawa
  3. Limited express trains such as Haruka, Kuroshio, Thunderbird, Kounotori, Yakumo, Super Hakuto (including Kamigori–Chizu)
    ** All cars of Kuroshio, Kounotori, Kinosaki, Hashidate, and Maizuru  Thunderbird, Shirasagi, Super Hakuto, Super Inaba, Yakumo are strictly reserved seating-only. Please book for reserved seats before boarding the train
  4. Special Rapid Services, Rapid Services, and Local trains on JR West Conventional lines
  5. JR West Miyajima ferry (Miyajimaguchi–Miyajima)
  6. West Japan JR Bus routes within the valid area. The pass cannot be used on expressway buses.*

  1. Ticket vending machines (Self-service): Operate and collect tickets through the green ticket vending machines marked with a "passport" icon at each station

    ** ID verification is not required for collection from the ticket vending machine; however, if you exchange at a manned counter, the staff will verify the name on the voucher and passport
    ** The ticket vending machines are only for travelers with a biometric passport. If your passport does not have an IC chip or does not work at the ticket vending machine, please visit a manned ticket office
  3. Collect reserved seat ticket: Please redeem the ticket at a Green Window or green ticket machine before using
    How to redeem
    • If you've run out of reserved seat quota or haven't redeemed the reserved seat ticket, you can still use the pass for unreserved seats
    • Passes that include unlimited reserved seats: if using the 7th or more times, please go to a Green Window to reserve manually and do not redeem at the machine
