The group was small, so we were given a large vehicle, which was very comfortable. Our tour leader, Xiao Xi, provided clear and helpful explanations, as well as helpful restaurant recommendations. The schedule was also very well arranged. We stayed at the Mystays hotel in Kanazawa, a standard but somewhat small business hotel, but conveniently located. Although it was a pity we didn't see the snow in the Gassho-zukuri village, overall the trip was satisfying and enjoyable. Highly recommended! 👍
The timing of the itinerary was perfect. The early departure time meant we arrived before other tour groups, allowing us ample time to take photos and enjoy the tranquility and fairytale-like beauty of the Gassho-zukuri village. Our guide, Magomi, was a lovely and friendly Japanese guide who interacted with everyone through lighthearted quizzes, sharing fun facts. Kenrokuen Garden is truly beautiful, deserving of its reputation as one of Japan's three most famous gardens. The Higashi Chaya area is very charming and perfect for a leisurely stroll; the DIY experiences were also quite fun. The bus ride was very smooth throughout, thanks to the guide and driver for their care.
It was very convenient because you could enter just by showing the QR code! Also, there are many participating facilities, and some of the facilities I visited were not on my schedule but were actually quite good, so I'm glad I bought the pass.
