- Course Introduction -
The most eye-catching landscape in the city is architecture. Architecture is closely related to our lives. Appreciating architectural aesthetics and structural safety is also one of the most important nutrients for children to grow up.
Workstations: The teaching content of Architectural Craftsmen is relatively rich. Four themed workstations will be set up in the classroom to allow students to experience construction methods, including geology, structure, design, and decoration.
Play with earthquakes: We use the American Smart Lab earthquake simulation suite to allow students to appreciate the seismic performance of buildings with different earthquake intensities. We will also conduct related experiments such as soil liquefaction, building collapse, and dampers to strengthen students' understanding of the seismic strength of houses.
Understand structure: In order to let children understand the structural engineering of buildings and bridges, they will have hands-on experience of "steel bar binding, cement grouting, Chinese-style stone bridges, Double Bridges... and other structural engineering projects."
Building a new home: Children will also learn to design a house floor plan and build a house model with their own hands. They will also apply some of the construction techniques learned at the workstation in the model house. Garden party: An architecture-themed garden party will be held on Friday, with each group planning a challenge theme (extended from relevant courses) and serving as a challenge host to receive students from other camps.

Parents are responsible for daily pick-up and drop-off. Please pick up and drop off students on time. The latest pick-up and drop-off time is 19:00.
During the course activities, in order to keep the students and the course going smoothly, parents are not allowed to enter without permission unless there is an emergency or the organizer takes the initiative to contact.
It is recommended that students avoid bringing valuable items, such as mobile phones, electronic products or excessive pocket money, during the event. The organizer will not be able to compensate for loss, damage, borrowing disputes, etc.
If you need to take sick leave, you can refund or apply for a reservation by providing a diagnosis certificate or medical receipt. A handling fee of NT$ 200/day will be charged for sick leave refunds. If the reason for taking leave is personal, no refund or reservation will be granted.
