Yufuin

This itinerary included a trip to Yufuin, with a short ride on the Yufuin no Mori train, which I found quite fun. Women never have enough time to shop, and I also ate a lot of delicious food. Dazaifu is also a great place to explore. This trip is definitely worth visiting again. Our local Japanese guide, Eiichi, added us to a social media group the night before and provided us with information to prepare for the trip. The day's activities were well-planned, and he thoughtfully recommended local restaurants. He managed the time well, ensuring we returned to Hakata on time.

Overall, I was very satisfied with this day trip to Kyushu, and I especially want to thank our tour guide, Lily! She was incredibly kind and patiently introduced each attraction along the way, and even enthusiastically recommended restaurants near Hakata Station, ensuring we had a great time eating after the trip. Our first stop, Lake Kinrin in Yufuin, was truly beautiful. The lake was calm, and the surrounding scenery was delightful, perfect for a leisurely stroll and taking photos. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time for a day trip, so we could only briefly visit. Next time, I definitely want to find an opportunity to stay overnight in Yufuin and fully enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this hot spring town. Next, we went to the Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell) in Beppu. The cobalt blue hot spring pools were stunning and lived up to their name. However, to be honest, the "Hell" series of attractions is more like a small garden; it's primarily for sightseeing. If you have high expectations, it might feel a bit small. I recommend approaching it with a relaxed mindset. The most delightful surprise was Frog Temple! This is an urban temple located in the city center, filled with many interestingly designed Buddha statues and frog decorations. There are photo opportunities everywhere, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Walking around it was very soothing, and I highly recommend everyone to visit. Overall, the itinerary was well-organized and the tour guide was attentive. It's perfect for first-time visitors to Kyushu who want to visit multiple attractions in one day. I highly recommend it!

Although it rained heavily that day, which was very inconvenient (weather is indeed uncontrollable), the itinerary was not rushed, allowing ample time for sightseeing. Our guide, Xiao Liu, was very responsible and attentive, explaining the origins of each attraction and making sure no one was missed. He was also very willing to answer any questions.

Thanks to the customer service team and Mr. Liu for their hard work. The customer service team responded quickly and confirmed the itinerary several times before departure. The all-inclusive price was very clear. Even though the weather was bad on the day and we had to change the itinerary, Mr. Liu was very cooperative. He not only introduced the attractions along the way, but also drove very smoothly and comfortably. The overall service made us feel at ease. It will be our first choice for car rental in Kyushu next time!
