This shared tour was great value. Our family traveled from Kaohsiung to Taoyuan Airport to catch our flight. Instead of taking the High Speed ​​Rail, we opted for a chartered car. Because it was a long weekend, we left a little earlier. There were many vehicles on the road, but the driver was very steady and paid close attention to the traffic. He didn't overtake recklessly or honk his horn because of traffic jams, ensuring a smooth ride for us. He also kindly asked if we needed to rest or use the restroom. The car was spacious and clean. This way of getting to the airport saved us the energy of carrying luggage, and we arrived at the airport not drenched in sweat – a great choice.

There were a lot of people, young and old, and the air was clear and full of phytoncides. The maple leaves were already red this season. It was the first time I saw so many red maple leaves. You can't see them in the city. You need to take a shuttle bus to the Forget-Your-Troubles Forest at your own expense, which is $200 per person because the road is very rugged. (Seriously, the entrance fee to Shanlinxi is $350 per person, but the shuttle bus is free. The shuttle bus driver will explain the tree species and the waterfall trail at the end. It would have been great if I had more time in Shanlinxi!)

Sun Moon Lake is breathtakingly beautiful, with the blue sky and azure waters creating a captivating contrast. The road to Cingjing is winding and requires considerable driving skills and patience. The sheep show was a bit hilarious, and the equestrian show was impressive but also dangerous. If we had more time, we could have walked around the grasslands. The cool, high-altitude air was refreshing. Thanks to our guide for making the trip safe and easy. He also took beautiful photos and sent them privately, never in a group. The three cars we drove together throughout the trip were very reassuring. My mother and I were also very satisfied with the itinerary.
