The parking lot for small cars is about five to ten minutes from the pier. On rainy days, you can enjoy the boat ride indoors. There's a small coffee bar on board where you can buy drinks and snacks. It's recommended to wear a waterproof and windproof jacket on rainy days, as it can be quite windy on the boat; lightweight raincoats are not advised.
It wasn't as scary as I imagined. I can't remember how the final step started. I felt short of breath during the fall, but after adjusting myself and switching to a paraglider, I felt much calmer. It's definitely worth the jump!
We departed from Te Anau, and the driver stopped at 4-5 photo spots along the way, stopping for 5-10 minutes at each. The timing of our arrival at the fjord was perfect; we boarded the boat after 10 minutes. The boat offered complimentary coffee and fresh milk, as well as sandwiches. If you chose the lunch set, you received a lunchbox. The boat trip took approximately 1.5 hours, and after returning to shore, we started our return journey, driving all the way back to Te Anau.
