We boarded at Kyoto Station and met at the designated meeting point on time. The tour guide, holding a GOGODAY sign, helped us find our way. The bus driver was professional and courteous; we were lucky to have Wu Yiyu as our guide – friendly, articulate, and a professional tour leader. On the bus, she provided brief introductions to the attractions in both English and Chinese, reminding us of meeting times. She managed the time well for each attraction, allowing us to visit four sites in one day – a truly fulfilling day! ☆ Sanzen-in Temple is the most beautiful spot; there's ample time for photos or lunch. ☆ Shirahisa Shrine is difficult to access, so a tour is the best option. ☆ Mangetsu-ji Temple offers close-up views of Lake Biwa and is a popular spot for locals. ☆ La Collina Omihachiman is very crowded on weekends; if possible, avoid weekends. One hour is enough for photos and to enjoy a Baumkuchen.
The driver was professional, punctual, friendly, polite, and attentive, patiently waiting for us while we carried out our activities. The vehicle was spacious, clean, and comfortable; the service was five-star. The private car made the entire experience much easier and smoother. We were all very satisfied with the trip and arrangements and would highly recommend it!
This was my third day trip, and all three attractions were beautiful, especially the autumn foliage. Even without mountains covered in red leaves, the scenery was still stunning. The only downside was the lunch selection; there were only two restaurants to choose from, which was a bit less impressive compared to previous day tours with included meals. Otherwise, everything was fine. Finally, I must commend Mr. Xu, the driver and tour leader, for his exceptional attentiveness.
There are only 10 of us, and most of us are not very familiar with the MIHO Art Museum. I believe that more and more people will come here in the future.
