The combination of the clear weather and the beautiful scenery was simply breathtaking. The white waves reflected on the blue lake surface, creating a stunning sight. The boat didn't rock at all.
The long-awaited MIHO Art Museum finally opened to the public today! The architecture felt like stepping into a fairytale wonderland. I couldn't help but use my eyes and heart to feel every line, every shift in light and shadow, and every unexpected moment around every corner. The chirping of birds filled the air, and I took a few deep breaths, feeling completely immersed in the rich phytoncides of a forest. The exhibition halls were also meticulously designed, complemented by detailed audio guides. This is definitely a place worth visiting again.
I really wanted to visit Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan, and I had a comfortable and enjoyable trip. I also visited the historic Sanzen-in Temple, where the garden was so beautiful and peaceful that it calmed my mind. The guide provided explanations in both English and Chinese, and was very kind and dedicated, even holding the hand of an older customer when they got off the bus.
I used this cable car on my way back from climbing Mount Hiei. I was so impressed to see Chikubu Island and Mount Hakusan from here. It was a very retro-feeling cable car.
The prices are affordable, and they'll add you to a Line group in advance. The driver will contact you the day before, which gives you peace of mind.
