The data card is cheap and convenient; you can pick it up at Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1, and the staff will process it in 2 minutes. Internet access and phone calls are smooth throughout the trip.

Previously, my children were thrilled with their pineapple cake making experience in Shilin, so I decided without hesitation to participate again on this Taipei trip... However, I didn't realize that the Kuo Yuan Yi Bakery Museum also had a location in Taoyuan, and I ended up booking at the wrong place. On the day of the experience, I went to the Kuo Yuan Yi Bakery Museum in Shilin and explained the situation. Since I had already paid, they kindly allowed me to switch my pineapple cake making experience to the Shilin location on an available day. The experience was explained in three languages: Chinese, English, and Japanese. The explanation itself was very easy to understand, and the support was perfect. While waiting for the cakes to bake, we also got a guided tour of the museum, making it a very fulfilling experience. On top of that, each person received a 50 NTD coupon that could be used at the attached shop, making it excellent value for money! The Korean and Japanese family who worked at the same table were also very nice people, and despite the worst-case scenario of booking the wrong way, we had a fantastic time. I exchange my ticket at the counter in front of the MRT ticket gate at Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1. I use this service every time, and it's much cheaper than paying the regular fare, so I'm grateful.

The route from Taipei to Kaohsiung, then to the southernmost point of Taiwan, then to Hualien, then to Wuling, then to Taichung, and back to Taipei took 4 nights and 5 days. The section from Hualien to Wuling was a treacherous road that would be unsuitable for inexperienced drivers, but the view from the top was absolutely spectacular.

I used it for both the outbound and return journeys, and exchanging the ticket at the counter was incredibly easy. I was surprised to find that both trains were completely full. Advance reservations are definitely necessary, and the discounts are fantastic.

I was sightseeing around Taipei and the surrounding area, and the communication environment was fine. Also, the device wasn't very large, so it wasn't difficult to carry around. The return location was a little hard to find, but it was easy; I just had to drop it in a mailbox.

The fare was 749 yuan. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The music played quietly and wasn't noisy. The driver provided excellent assistance with loading and unloading luggage, drove smoothly, and the price was reasonable.

I used this ticket because I couldn't use the train due to my round-trip overnight flight (LCC). The bus was comfortable, and using the ticket was no problem; it was very convenient. I will use it again.

Aside from the card pickup location being a bit hard to find, everything else is great. The price is affordable, the internet speed is fast, and you can use the discounted price without needing to share with others. I highly recommend this for solo travelers.
