Nantou

I'm so glad I persisted and booked the stargazing tour in Cingjing. Although it rained quite a bit in the afternoon, the rain cleared up around 6 pm. At 8:10 pm, we boarded a minibus and headed towards the hidden gem. After walking along a short, dark path, we reached a flat area. Looking up at the sky filled with stars, the sheer awe brought tears to my eyes. I never knew that without light pollution, you could see so many stars, big and small. Our driver and guide, Ah Zhe, was incredibly professional. I highly recommend the stargazing app – Star Walk 2 – it's an extremely useful tool. Our Samoyed, Yo-Yo, was adorable and a great addition to the photos. Ah Zhe was also very professional when taking pictures; the photos he took were beautiful, and he even taught us how to pose. It was truly a tour with amazing value for money.

This was our first trip with the kids, and having a chartered bus meant we didn't have to drive ourselves, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the trip. Our driver, Mr. Sun, was incredibly kind and patient, even with two children of his own. The 9-seater bus was very comfortable, and the high-speed rail journey from Taipei to Taichung took less than an hour. It was a relaxing day trip, saving us the expense of carrying lots of luggage and paying for accommodation. This change in travel mindset made everyone very happy.

We had such an unforgettable experience in Cingjing Farm and Hehuanshan thanks to our driver Weiwei. His driving skills is top notch. We all slept almost all the way in the winding road to Hehuanshan:) He gave lots of good recommendations that has made our trip very enjoyable.
