[About the 10th Shirakawa-go Minkaen Special Night Illumination]
Enjoy from dusk into the night! About 90 minutes in total! At night, visit the special night opening of the Shirakawa-go Minkaen
- This tour visits the Minkaen illumination; the village of Shirakawa-go cannot be visited during the illumination hours. *Entry into Shirakawa-go village beyond Deai Bridge from the Seseragi Park parking lot is not possible.
- Because you check in to the hotel after the illumination, arrival will be around 8:00 PM and dinner will be served late after arrival.
- Road surfaces are slippery, so please be sure to wear non-slip footwear (shoes with deep-grooved soles, insulated waterproof boots, etc.).
- This is an outdoor walk at night. Temperatures drop below freezing at night, so please bring warm clothing (winter wear, a coat, disposable hand warmers, warm gloves, a warm hat, earmuffs, etc.).
- Snowy paths can be dark at night, so we recommend bringing a flashlight, and a raincoat or poncho in case of rain.

[Sightseeing Spots]
Kenrokuen Garden: A representative Japanese garden in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, known as one of Japan's three great gardens along with Kairakuen in Mito and Korakuen in Okayama. It was built over many years by the Maeda family of the Kaga Domain during the Edo period. The grounds feature ponds, artificial hills, and teahouses, with beautiful scenery in every season; the cherry blossoms in spring, autumn foliage, and the yukitsuri snow-protection ropes in winter are especially famous. It is a must-see spot when visiting Kanazawa.
Amaharashi Coast: A beautiful coastline in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture. On clear days, you can see the 3,000-meter-class Tateyama Mountain Range across Toyama Bay, making it a renowned scenic spot where you can enjoy the sea and mountains at the same time. The view of Onnaiwa Rock, which appears to float on the sea, against the Tateyama Mountain Range is especially famous. The area is also associated with Otomo no Yakamochi, a leading poet of the Man'yoshu anthology, making it a destination where you can experience both history and nature.
