If you have kids, you absolutely must go! They can burn off energy all day long, and they'll fall asleep on the bus in no time until the final stop. It's fantastic!
Although the itinerary was tight, there was still ample time to visit the attractions. Even though it was just a short day trip, our guide, Xiaomei, provided such warm and attentive service, making us feel like familiar friends. The driver's driving skills and time management were reassuring.
Overall feeling good except the ticket exchange center closed relatively early the ticket exchange process was smooth staff attentive to assist and inquire about your itinerary A+ high recommended
After booking the KKday tour, I tried to find detailed information about the day tour online but couldn't find any. Being a person from Japan, I easily feel anxious if I don't know the details beforehand, so I'm writing down the details of this trip from start to finish for everyone's reference. 1. Because Nagoya Station is very large, I recommend walking the route to Meitetsu Bus Station the day before, otherwise getting lost and rushing on the day can be very stressful. After arriving at the bus station on the fourth floor, find a place that looks like a tourist center. There are many staff members inside. Show them your booking, and they will guide you to the check-in counter. The staff at the counter will ask for your name and give you a long slip with the name of the person who made the reservation and the seat number on the bus. Please remember to sit according to the seating chart. 2. About two hours after departure, you will get off at a rest stop to use the restroom. Remember the bus license plate number. It's best to go to the restroom immediately after getting off, as it gets very crowded. 3. The next stop is for lunch. Basically, follow the tour guide, and they will ask how many people are traveling together. They will arrange seating according to the number of people. There is a piece of paper under the chicken hot pot ingredients; just stir-fry the chicken and vegetables on the paper. 4. Upon arrival at Shin-Hotaka, the tour guide will take everyone on a two-section cable car ride to the summit. After that, you can ride the cable car down at your own pace. Please keep your cable car tickets safe, as they will be checked both ways. The tour guide will distribute cable car information on the bus, in both Chinese and English. There are food stalls, souvenir shops, and restrooms at all three cable car stations. 5. After getting off, return to the bus stop at the designated meeting time. 6. There will be another rest stop for restrooms on the return trip, approximately 2 hours later. This is the same first rest stop as the departure one. This group is half Japanese, with some from Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and other foreigners. The main languages spoken are Japanese and English. The tour guide can communicate in basic English, but even if your English isn't perfect, it's okay, as you can generally understand what the guide is saying. There are handwritten signs indicating the meeting time after the rest stop.
