Kamikochi

Spring (April to June) and autumn (September to November) are the best times to view mountain cherry blossoms and red maples. The temperatures are warm and the days are clear, perfect for hiking and photography.

The famous Myojin Pond, Tashiro Pond and Taisho Pond are a paradise for photographers. Kappa Bridge is one of Kamikochi's landmarks, spanning the crystal clear Azusa River with spectacular mountains in the background.
