The airport pick-up and drop-off area was heavily congested, and it took 15 to 20 minutes to wait for a car to circle around and get in. The ride was comfortable, and the service was excellent.
Comfortable stay in alishan hotel with breakfast and dinner buffet within package. Tour group was professionally conducted with ample time within each sight
The entire trip was exquisitely packaged, from receiving the transparent ticket to seating arrangements, concierge service, train ambiance, menu, souvenirs, and more – it felt like opening a gift, with surprises in every detail. Although the weather was overcast that day, preventing access to the most stunning views and coastal scenery, the overall sophistication of the package and food was captivating, making it impossible not to capture it with a camera! I especially appreciated the guided tours at the next stop, which included visits to towns and villages not typically visited on regular tours, offering a deeper understanding of Taiwan's local customs and culture. While the price wasn't cheap, it was still worthwhile. Furthermore, purchasing through KKday offered a $90 discount coupon, making it cheaper than buying directly from the website. And if tickets are sold out on the website, checking KKday again might still offer some availability.
Simply show the QR code in the PDF voucher to the staff. For any amount exceeding the voucher's face value, you can pay the difference. It worked flawlessly. Note that the food and beverage vouchers have an expiration date.
Overall, this Kenting day trip was a great experience. The itinerary was plentiful yet not too rushed, allowing us to visit several classic attractions in one day at a comfortable pace. The scenery at Sail Rock, Eluanbi Park, and Longpan Park was absolutely stunning, with expansive ocean views that made for beautiful photos – perfect for those who love nature and photography. Hengchun Old Street also had a lot of local character, offering a great opportunity to stroll and eat. A special shout-out to our guide, Wei Ge! He was fantastic! He was incredibly enthusiastic and responsible, sharing lots of local information and thoughtfully reminding us of meeting times and important details, making the entire trip easy and worry-free. In short, this kind of shared day tour is incredibly convenient for those who don't want to plan their own transportation. It saves time and effort while still allowing you to see the main attractions, offering excellent value for money. Highly recommended! 🌊☀️
The ticket price is cheap and it's well worth the trip. We took the Golden River cruise this time. Some bridges along the entire river are too low, requiring everyone to lie down. Taiwan also has many great tourist destinations. I suggest choosing a time in the evening, otherwise Tainan gets very hot. We were only in mid-March and the sun was already very strong. However, it's windy at the beach, so I recommend not wearing a hat.
