A 3-day unlimited ride pass for just under 10,000 yen per person is a great deal. This time, we only used it for two days across three sections: Taipei to Taichung, Taichung to Tainan, and Tainan to Taipei, but even that was cheaper than the regular price. It would be even more economical if you rode it extensively for three days. What's more, the purchase method is simple: you buy it online and receive a voucher. This time, after arriving at Taipei Station from Taoyuan Airport via the MRT, we went straight to the high-speed rail counter, received our 3-day pass from the voucher, and booked our tickets to Taichung Station for the next morning. After sightseeing in Taichung the next day, we purchased tickets to Tainan at Taichung Station, and upon arrival at Tainan Station, booked our tickets to Taipei Station for the following day, successfully completing our entire trip as planned. This 3-day pass requires face-to-face interaction at a counter rather than using vending machines or automatic ticket gates, so we were able to manage with broken English and written Chinese characters, which was reassuring. We had to show our passports (one per person) at each step of the process, but it was reassuring to know that we could purchase our tickets without any problems.

I used it for both the outbound and return journeys, and exchanging the ticket at the counter was incredibly easy. I was surprised to find that both trains were completely full. Advance reservations are definitely necessary, and the discounts are fantastic.

The early booking plan was great value for money, costing just over 5000 yen per person and even including the famous tea in Jiufen. Our tour guide, Kaori, was humorous, easy to talk to, and very entertaining. She made reservations for the lanterns, peanut ice cream, and chicken wings in Shifen for us, even though there were about 20 groups in our group, which allowed us to make the most of our time. The hand-drawn map of Jiufen was also very helpful as it highlighted all the key points. At the end, we were even able to get off at the night market if we asked, so it was a truly fulfilling tour!

The service, train, and itinerary were all excellent; however, the meals could have been of higher quality.

The Palace Museum has a very rich collection. A thorough visit would take a long time. There are also many interesting souvenirs to take home. It's definitely worth a visit and offers great value for money.

It worked perfectly. Installation was easy, and it connected immediately after setup. It's inexpensive, but works without any problems.

The setup was incredibly easy. The communication quality was also fine, and my whole family had absolutely no complaints. It's much cheaper than the options offered by Japanese carriers.

Stay at a guesthouse in Jiufen, enjoy a leisurely breakfast, explore the quiet old street that opens at 10 am, and arrive at your Taipei hotel before noon by chartered taxi. Purchase and top up an EasyCard at a convenience store and tour the area by bus, visiting Dihua Street, Longshan Temple, Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall + mango shaved ice at "Bingzan," the Taipei 101 Observatory, and having an early dinner at "Din Tai Fung"—a perfect way to experience Taipa. However, buses are infrequent and take a long time.

It was a Monday, so it was very quiet. The changing room was clean and equipped with a hairdryer. The open-air bath was small, but thanks to the good water and the friendly staff, I had a wonderful time.
