Yilan

The weather wasn't great as it was raining heavily but our drive Ken Yu was very helpful - providing umbrella, sheltering us when we alight the car and driving closer to the entrances of the sights we wanted to see so that we wouldn't have to walk in the rain too much. Ken Yu was a very friendly driver, communicates well and also managed our timetable perfectly. The drive was very smooth as well. Could see that he knows the sights well and was able to give us some tips. He also managed to get good deals with the farm so we had a free scallion pancake which was a real bonus! Overall, a very pleasant experience thanks to our friendly driver Ken! However, we did provide age, height, weight of our child and we thought the baby chair provided by the company was a little unsuitable (front facing and too big). Our baby puked a little in the car as a result but our driver Ken was nice about it.

The space is very comfortable. There are six dessert items and an ice cream. The ice cream spoon is made of seashell material, so you can take it home as a souvenir. There are also stamped postcards. The design is very nice. You can get off twice along the way to explore the area. I highly recommend visiting the Farmers' Association when you go to Toucheng.

Lanyang Zoo is truly an excellent zoo in Yilan, boasting a wide variety of animals, all well-cared for, and offering numerous animal shows. It's a great option for families with children, allowing you to spend an entire afternoon there. It's really excellent value for money, but the downside is to avoid weekends. Last time I went on a Saturday, the crowds were overwhelming, making it difficult to properly observe the animals. Thankfully, this time I went on a weekday, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommended!
