Atami
Atami is a famous hot spring spot in Shizuoka Prefecture. The entire Izu Peninsula is divided into East Izu, Central Izu, and Minami Izu. I was so lucky to have Xia, a Chinese-speaking driver, as hiring a car made the trip so easy. He worked tirelessly from Tokyo to pick us up from our hotel in Kawaguchiko early in the morning, and we drove for over an hour to the 5th Station's Onaka-dori trail, enjoying the beautiful scenery halfway up the mountain. Although our time at the outlet was limited, we still managed to buy what we wanted. Xia was very polite and warm, drove steadily, and avoided traffic jams so we could get back to Tokyo on time. I boarded a shuttle bus next to the reception area and was taken to the Mirror Shrine. From there, I walked down while enjoying the gardens, and it was nice to see so many flowers. The gnome lost item search (an event using LINE) was surprisingly cute and fun. If the weather is nice, I think you can take some great photos.

The art museum is well-planned and has beautiful scenery. If you are traveling to Atami, I would highly recommend visiting the art museum. Parking is also very convenient, and there are restaurants and cafes within the park.
