Kamakura

I booked Deren International for both my airport transfers this time. They are a highly recommended company. Their cars are clean, the drivers are punctual, the pre-trip communication is very clear, and the speed is stable, making the ride very reassuring.

At the start of our trip, we were warmly welcomed by our enthusiastic tour guide. He provided detailed explanations of the history and features of each attraction in fluent Chinese and English. The most unforgettable experience in Hakone was undoubtedly the Hakone Cruise. On the lake, we gazed at famous landmarks along the shore, especially the "Peace Torii" gate of Hakone Shrine, standing majestically in the water. Even more fortunately, we had a clear view of the majestic Mount Fuji that day; the scenery was truly breathtaking, like a beautiful Japanese landscape painting. Afterwards, we visited Hakone Shrine ourselves. Although there were quite a few people, we could feel the solemn atmosphere of this ancient shrine. In the evening, we headed to Atami, ready to experience the highlight of the day. At Atami Bay, we avoided the crowds and found a cozy little shop to enjoy dinner, spending a peaceful time there. After dinner, we went to the beach, where the long-awaited Atami Fireworks Festival began on time. Under the starry winter night sky, colorful fireworks burst brilliantly over the bay. The enormous sound and dazzling light and shadow were reflected on the sea. The shock and emotion brought this journey to a passionate and unforgettable end.

Overall, it was pretty good. I joined a tour group with foreigners; the guide spoke English, Chinese, and Japanese. However, there were many people and the pace was fast, so it was easy to lose track if you weren't paying attention. On November 30th, I was incredibly lucky to see Mount Fuji! 🗻
