The tour leader and guide were very attentive, explaining all the local customs and traditions. Mount Fuji was shrouded in clouds for most of the day. Fortunately, in Oshino Hakkai, the tour leader informed us that the mountain had reappeared, allowing us to quickly take a picture. Soon after, it disappeared back into the clouds.

Our tour guide, Sun Yu, was very nice! Kurobe Alpine Route was quite unique! The hotels we stayed at were all good! Overall, a very good experience!

Purchasing a suitable local rail pass for your trip can save you from Japan's high transportation costs. You can reserve your seat in advance at any station using the machine, making it convenient, fast, and easy.

Both times it happened in Tokyo; I'm not sure if it's as smooth in other areas. I was initially worried that it would slow down if I exceeded 2GB in a day, but it didn't!! (I closed and reopened my number when it reached 2GB). Plus, it can be installed and uninstalled with one click; I really can't find a reason to replace it!!!

I really liked our tour guide; her recommendations for must-try foods were exactly as she described, and she was trustworthy! With plenty of time, you can wander around, take photos, and reflect! Definitely worth a visit again.

I was in a tight spot, wondering if I'd make it to the 3rd floor in time for the Meitetsu bus departure in just 5 minutes. I hurried out of the taxi, showed them a photo, and they were able to confirm it immediately 😊 I was getting impatient with how slow the elevator was, but I hurried down the corridor to the bus stop because my knees are bad and I can't run, and I made it just in time for the 3:00 PM departure. I was relieved that the luggage retrieval was smooth. It was my first time and I didn't have a reservation, so it took me a while to install the app on my smartphone and register.

This time, because we arrived at Sendai Station after the counter service hours, we had to come back the next morning to exchange our tickets. The counter staff were very helpful. Over the next few days, we made good use of the tickets, traveling radially from Sendai to Aomori, Akita, Tokyo, and so on. However, we encountered a problem: this ticket must not be scratched, otherwise it cannot be scanned on the green machine; it will be ejected as soon as it is inserted. We had to go to the service counter for assistance (oddly enough, all their machines could read it). In addition, the complimentary Tohoku Enjoyment Ticket allowed me to exchange it for Matsushima ferry tickets and a handful of snacks and drinks, which was quite nice.

The room was spacious, the staff were friendly, and the vending machines downstairs were very convenient. Ghibli Park was fantastic; die-hard fans should definitely go!
