Our day trip to Ganghwa Island was the most fun of our Seoul trip. Of all the things we did in Seoul, and the one we most recommend to everyone, was the Ganghwa Island toboggan run. Definitely buy two tickets; one isn't enough, and three are a bit too many (there are two routes). The outlet was significantly less impressive than the one at Mitsui in Taiwan, and there wasn't much of a price difference. Lunch was just a typical food street. The observation deck was just a place to enjoy the view; nothing particularly special. We spent 15,000 NTD (about 40 large bags) on seaweed at the seaweed museum. Since my family members are also tour guides, they know how tiring it is to shop at these kinds of places, and seeing them smile as they saw us off made us happy too. However, I suggest buying only about 10 large bags, otherwise your suitcase won't have enough room. Finally, our tour leader, Richel, was wonderful—very thoughtful and kind. Thank you for spending the day with us.
