This is the key to getting to Amanohashidate, and reservations are very convenient. However, the JR station staff didn't really help us reserve seats, telling us to reserve them ourselves at the machines. Was it because they were about to close for the day? The staff at Hakata Station would reserve seats for us up to six times, and in Osaka, they did take us to the machines to operate them ourselves.
My first time using this service was incredibly nerve-wracking. The language barrier made me very anxious, and I was even more so when my luggage arrived at the hotel and hadn't reached me. I finally contacted customer service and learned that delivery would begin after 8 PM (due to local traffic conditions). I was so happy to receive my luggage around 7 PM that evening! I'll definitely choose to go again next time.
The itinerary was well-planned, the tour guide was professional and knowledgeable, and the vehicles were new, but the meals were subpar; improvements are needed.
I wish I had been informed of the license plate number a day in advance, as there were three vehicles on the day of the trip, which caused some confusion, and I thought I had missed my ride. Our tour guide, Abe, was a wonderful person; although the bus was late, the itinerary wasn't delayed. The driver, Fukuoka, was also very friendly. Overall, the trip was fantastic.
