Trip was well paced from Kyoto. However, I thought it would be too much bus time for those from Osaka. Weather was a bit of a let down so if there were some sale of daiso raincoat , it would have felt more thoughtful. In terms of food recommendation at Amanohasidate, more could be said on the bus trip before orders were taken for the ‘convenient’ katsu restaurant at gathering point. For example , the hilltop restaurant was lovely. Guides were kind and polite. Locations are nice with great nature/air but slightly off by gloomy weather and off season energy of closed shops. Cruise is a must - feeding eagles were energizing.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, providing enthusiastic explanations throughout the trip and recommending restaurants at the end. He was a very kind person. The scenery was absolutely beautiful; Amanohashidate truly deserves its reputation as one of the three most scenic spots. If you weren't on this tour, it would take a considerable amount of time to get there on your own, making it well worth the trip.
Only 4 people participated this time, but KKDAY still managed to form a group, which is great! The whole trip felt like a private tour with a chartered car. The only downside was that the weather wasn't cooperating. It rained and visibility was poor when we arrived at Amanohashidate in the morning to climb to the top. However, the weather cleared up in the afternoon when we arrived at Jieunsa Temple and the Revolving Bridge, and the photos we took looked like postcards. We are very grateful to Mr. Wang, who was both our driver and guide. It took 2.5 hours each way, which was quite tiring! I recommend coming in the summer when the weather is good, as it will be even more beautiful.
Our tour guide, Fu Shuo, was fantastic. It was a relaxing trip – a must-try when visiting Osaka! They provide private car service so you don't have to worry about transportation.
