Arashiyama

The station staff were incredibly friendly. The little train had good space, and the scenery along the way was beautiful. However, the 25-minute ride felt a bit too short. It's perfect for a family day trip to Arashiyama.

Apple's tour guide provides a very comprehensive introduction to the history of the attractions. They send out notices before the trip, and you can ask questions at any time with a very fast response time! The itinerary is also very well arranged. We visited Katsuo-ji Temple, Arashiyama, and Kinkaku-ji Temple, all of which were great. The whole trip was not rushed, and the shuttle service was very convenient. It is suitable for tourists who want to experience independent travel but do not want to spend a lot of time on transportation.

Thank you to our tour guide, Liu Limin, for your humor and wit that made the trip so relaxing. He also took photos for everyone and gave us ample time to explore and shop at each attraction. We had lunch at Wasabi Restaurant in Kyoto. The staff were friendly and polite. The restaurant was a beautiful, traditional building with a small courtyard in the back. The Wagyu beef hot pot with tofu and meat was delicious. After lunch, we had a matcha tea experience and learned the basic techniques for brushing matcha and how to drink it. I was surprised by all the details! It was a fulfilling day trip that satisfied my taste buds. Highly recommended!

The itinerary went very smoothly. Starting from Osaka was very convenient, and not having to figure out transportation myself made things much easier. Katsuo-ji Temple, Arashiyama, and Fushimi Inari Shrine were all unique attractions, and the timing was perfect. The tour guide explained everything clearly, and my family had a great time. It's perfect for first-time visitors to Kyoto! 😊

We added a photoshoot package to our order for the first time. We chose this studio because we were worried about rain, and if it rained, the photos might not look as good, so we weren't really keen on going. This studio was one of the few that allowed free cancellation a day in advance, giving us some flexibility during our trip! Although there seemed to be a slight mishap during the photographer's consultation, the photographer who did the shoot was very nice and was very helpful with the subsequent retouching!
