2027 Winter Limited・Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri Village Illumination, only 4 days a year. The 2027 winter illumination will only be held on 1/11, 1/17, 1/24, and 1/31. We will take you to visit the World Heritage site of Shirakawa-go Gassho-zukuri Village to enjoy the dreamlike winter scenery of snow-covered thatched-roof houses intertwined with night lights, and arrange a stroll through the Hida Takayama Old Town.
Two travel plans are available, which can be selected according to your itinerary needs:
- Bus Tour | Nagoya Round Trip: Depart from Nagoya, round trip to Shirakawa-go and Hida Takayama, suitable for travelers who want a one-stop round trip from Nagoya.
- 9-Person Boutique Small Group | Takayama Pick-up/Drop-off Available: Small group format, the itinerary is more flexible; in addition to departing from Nagoya, you can choose to be picked up or dropped off in Takayama, which is convenient for connecting to Takayama accommodation or subsequent itineraries, enjoying a more relaxed travel arrangement.

You can stroll through the 'Sanmachi' built in the Meiji and Taisho eras, taste local delicacies such as Hida beef and Takayama ramen, and admire handicrafts that condense the superb skills of Hida craftsmen. Plan A: Infants from 0 years old are charged the same as adults. The complimentary snack contains beef; if you do not eat beef or other meat products, please note this when placing your order. Please note that drop-off in Takayama is not available for this plan. Plans B and C: Infants from 0 years old are charged the same as adults. Please note that this 9-person small group plan does not include the complimentary snack or the Shirakawa-go limited edition souvenir.
You cannot leave the group midway through the tour. Leaving the group midway will be regarded as giving up the unfinished itinerary, and the fee will not be refunded. Please note that any accidents that occur after leaving or midway through the tour will be the responsibility of the traveler.
Transportation, sightseeing, and stay times related to the itinerary may be adjusted based on the situation on the day. In case of special circumstances (traffic congestion, weather reasons, etc.), the tour guide will reasonably adjust the order of visits based on the actual situation with the consent of the guests, without reducing the number of attractions in the itinerary.
Please keep your passport and valuables safe during the trip. If they are lost, stolen, or damaged, the relevant costs will be borne by the traveler.

For groups of 18 or fewer, the driver acts as the tour leader (Chinese/basic English); for 18-45 people, an additional tour leader (Chinese/basic English) will be provided.
Please fully prepare cold-weather clothing and it is recommended to wear non-slip shoes. It is relatively dark underfoot when visiting Shirakawa-go, so it is recommended to bring your own flashlight. Please understand that due to force majeure factors such as climate, the snowfall in Shirakawa-go may not be as expected.
