I was worried about communication issues since I'm Korean, but the owners speak English and even offer recommendations if you're undecided! So, I was able to choose a kimono I liked and get my hair done. The stylists showed me the accessories to pick out myself and styled everything to my liking. After finishing the back, I asked them to fix my bangs and side hair, and they even re-curled it for me. As a result, I was able to spend the whole day looking absolutely lovely in my hair and outfit! It looked so pretty that even passing foreigners and Japanese people complimented me on how cute I was. Thank you! It's much cheaper to buy through the app than paying on-site, so be sure to purchase via the app!
The USJ VIP 5-hour private tour was the highlight of our trip to Japan. With two adults and two children (5 and 8 years old), we couldn’t have gotten done half as much as we did with our tour guide Watanabe, who was incredibly friendly. He spoke a little English, but we got by just fine with Google Translate and achieved every ride we wanted to (sometimes twice). If you are only planning to spend one day at the park and can swing it, this package is definitely worth it because the guide can get you to the front of the line at every ride and get you reservations into four experiences (Waterworld, Ollivander’s, Elmo’s Bubble Bubble, Universal Studios Monster) that you would otherwise probably not be able to get yourself or would have to choose between. Our guide also treated us to hot dogs and popcorn. The lounge also has a storage area and drinks. Highly recommend.
It's a pity we couldn't get Fastpass tickets (because the special pass combined with other packages isn't suitable for seniors and children), so we only got guaranteed admission. But it's still good that we got guaranteed admission because we couldn't get any tickets at the park! We still had to wait in line for two hours for Mario Kart, but it was totally worth it. Once inside, it brought back so many childhood memories, and it was really fun to see it live. I highly recommend going!
