 [Echizen Soba no Sato]

<Welcome to the world of authentic Echizen soba, carved with 90 years of history!>

Even in this modern age where time flows and mechanization advances, the soul of a craftsman never fades. Here at Echizen Soba no Sato, the traditional techniques passed down for 90 years are still carefully preserved by the skilled hands of craftsmen today. You can observe the soba production process through the glass anytime during business hours! And not to be missed is the exquisite botamochi from the handmade confectionery workshop. It is a masterpiece that recreates the taste of those nostalgic, large botamochi that the third-generation owner's grandmother used to make when he was a child. It is so popular that customers come from far away just to seek this taste! We take pride in our elegant, low-sugar bean paste, made from carefully selected Hokkaido adzuki beans slowly simmered in a large pot by the third-generation owner.

[Nishiyama Park]

<In autumn, about 1,600 maple trees dye the park in a burning crimson, spreading a breathtakingly beautiful world of autumn leaves.★>

Whether you are relaxing on the lawn square, enjoying an exciting adventure in the Adventure Forest, or calming your mind in the Japanese garden, this is a spot full of charm where everyone from children to adults can find their own way to enjoy it. The view from the observation deck is exceptional, and it is a superb viewpoint where you can overlook not only the beautiful panorama of Sabae city but also the magnificent mountain ranges of the distant Hakusan mountain range!

[Kakusenkei Gorge]

<A spectacular gorge woven by nature and history that colors the Yamanaka Onsen town!>

Kakusenkei Gorge, a beautiful gorge carved by the Daishoji River. The beauty of the gorge, which continues for about 1.3km from the Korogi Bridge upstream to the Kurotani Bridge, deeply fascinates those who visit. If you walk along the well-maintained promenade, you can spend a blissful time wrapped in the murmuring of the river and the lush nature. The tour of the 'Ayatori-hashi Bridge,' with its impressive S-shaped innovative design, and the 'Korogi Bridge,' which is full of atmosphere and made entirely of cypress, will double the fun of your stroll. The view is especially exceptional during the autumn foliage season, and the sight of the contrast between the burning red and golden colors coloring the gorge is breathtakingly beautiful. There are plenty of highlights around that smell of history and culture!

[Kenrokuen Garden]

<The pinnacle of historical and cultural heritage that conveys the splendor of the Kaga Hyakumangoku to the present day!>

Kenrokuen Garden is one of the three great gardens of Japan, along with Mito Kairakuen and Okayama Korakuen. This famous garden is a masterpiece that the successive lords of Kaga poured their passion into over many years and carefully crafted as a representative daimyo garden of the Edo period. Despite its prime location in the center of Kanazawa City, its breathtaking beauty continues to fascinate not only the people of the prefecture but also tourists from all over the world.

<The pinnacle of the strolling garden - a spectacular panorama that changes with every step★>

The essence of Kenrokuen lies in the beauty of its 'strolling' garden style. This is an innovative style that sets it apart from conventional gardens where you sit and view them, making the most of the vast land to dig large ponds, build artificial hills, and exquisitely arrange pavilions and teahouses. It is a masterpiece woven by numerous ponds and the beautiful winding streams that connect them, mountains built from excavated soil, and the planting of various trees. Every time you take a step, a new landscape appears, and you can experience the excitement of walking through a picture scroll.

[Murasaki Shikibu Park]

<Experience the world of the Heian picture scroll in the land of Echizen, loved by the author of The Tale of Genji!>

Echizen City is the special place where Murasaki Shikibu, famous as the author of The Tale of Genji, lived away from the capital only once in her life. It is said that she visited this land with her father, Fujiwara no Tametoki, who became the governor of Echizen Province, and spent a precious year or so here. Murasaki Shikibu Park, built to commemorate this historical event, is known as a shinden-zukuri style garden, which is extremely rare in Japan.

<Enjoy the Heian romance on the photogenic arched bridge!>

The arched bridge in the park is a spectacular spot that is sure to look great in photos! Why don't you try feeling like a Heian aristocrat on this beautiful bridge that has revived the elegant atmosphere of the Heian period in the modern day?
