1. Age limit: Students entering second grade of elementary school to sixth grade of elementary school (junior high school students are also welcome to participate, and will be placed in classes according to age and English proficiency).
2. Fee Explanation: This fee is tuition. An additional materials fee of NT$3,000 (including 11 fun science experiment toys to take home) will be charged upon registration at the start of the camp.
3. Essential items: Bring a pencil case, water bottle, cutlery, and small backpack.
4. Additional Fees:
(1) If you request changes after registration (such as changing classes, changing sessions, etc.) after June 22, we will charge an administrative fee of NT$200.
(2) If you need to pick up your child after 5:30 PM, please inform us in advance. The extended pick-up time is 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM, and the fee is NT$150 per student per day. The fee is NT$300 per student per day for pick-up between 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM.
5. Minimum class size: 12 people. Maximum class size: 24 people. Those whose classes cannot proceed due to insufficient enrollment will be notified two weeks prior to the start of the event and will receive a full refund.
6. 11 sets of lab manuals to take home, science notebooks and handouts, lunch, snacks and drinks.
7. Event Cancellation Rules:
(1) If the number of participants is insufficient to start the class, you will be notified two weeks before the start of the event and will receive a full refund.
(2) No refunds will be given for those who are unable to attend the event due to personal reasons, and no reservations will be accepted.
(3) In the event of natural disasters such as typhoons, torrential rains, or earthquakes, the decision regarding work or school will be made in accordance with the announcements of the county/city government or the Executive Yuan's Personnel Administration Bureau. No further notice will be given, and announcements will also be made on the fan page and class LINE group. To ensure the integrity of the camp activities, Sparkle and Shine reserves the right to decide whether to hold make-up classes on Saturdays or Sundays. If a make-up class is announced and participants are unable to attend, no refund will be given. If no make-up class is held, 70% of the fee for that day will be refunded proportionally.
7. Refunds will be issued proportionally before the camp begins; for absences after the camp begins: no refunds will be issued for sick leave and make-up classes are not possible. Materials can be taken home or sent after the camp.
8. If the tour does not reach the minimum group size of 12 people, the tour will be cancelled. Notification regarding group formation will be sent 14 days prior to departure; please check your messages carefully.
This activity is covered by public liability insurance to protect against risks associated with camp activities, the venue, and participants during the formal course. This insurance primarily covers incidents for which the company is legally liable. Actual coverage and claim conditions are subject to the terms, limitations, and agreements of the insurance contract.
This camp includes a variety of hands-on learning activities, such as scientific experiments, creative projects, and interactive classroom participation.
Our staff will provide appropriate supervision and safety guidance. However, minor incidents such as scrapes, collisions, liquid spills, or clothing stains may still occur during normal activities. These incidents may still occur even if students follow instructions and are considered natural risks in a hands-on learning environment. Parents understand and agree that the above situations may occur and agree that our company is not liable for minor accidents that occur to students during normal participation in activities.
During the camp and courses, our staff will take photos or videos from time to time to record the activities and share the participants' learning process. The photos or videos taken during the activities may be used for sharing on social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.), introductions and promotions of courses or activities, print advertisements or marketing materials, official website or online advertising content. Our company will use participants' images with caution for promotional and marketing purposes in accordance with relevant laws (including the Personal Data Protection Act, etc.).
Students should arrive at the designated meeting point on time. If you do not arrive before the meeting time, you must take your child to the classroom yourself, or contact our company, and staff will assist you at the entrance if necessary. Students must be personally handed over to staff by their parents or guardians before leaving. If you anticipate being late, it is recommended to notify us in advance so that arrangements can be made.
