Product Info
- Experience a rickshaw ride through the streets of Kamo, the 'Little Kyoto' of Northern Echigo. This plan includes lunch at a long-established ryotei restaurant♪ ＜Seiuntei Yamashige＞ Established 180 years ago. The name 'Yamashige' comes from the first owner, who was affectionately known as 'Juhei of the mountain above'. At the time of its founding, it operated as a public bathhouse called 'Chojuyu', which was a bustling place where people would relax, eat, and drink after soaking in the bath. During the Taisho era, it also served Western cuisine. Since then, it has operated as a Japanese restaurant. In 1964 and 2008, we were honored to host members of the Imperial Family. You can spend a comfortable time in a purely Japanese-style space with the hospitality and cuisine unique to a long-established ryotei. We were featured in the Michelin Guide Niigata 2020. In the autumn of 2021, our buildings were designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan. Regional Coupon
