The Zen meditation experience is for healthy people aged 15 and over. You can participate at your own pace in a quiet environment.
[Copying Sutra / Buddhist Image Experience]
In the sutra copying class, you will trace the Heart Sutra. This is a class that even small children who cannot read can safely participate in.
In Shabutsu, you carefully trace the image of the Buddha onto paper. The important thing is not how well you write or how fast you write, but to put your heart into each stroke.
Take a break from your busy daily routine and experience some relaxing time.
[Making Buddhist Rosary Bracelets]
In Buddhism, prayer beads are considered to be important ritual implements that connect the heart with Buddha.
In this experience, you can choose from several types of prayer beads and freely assemble your own original bracelet prayer beads.
Once completed, a prayer will be held and you can take it home as a keepsake. It is recommended as a talisman to wear or as a gift for family and friends. There is also the option to use higher quality prayer beads.

・The temple grounds are hilly, so please wear comfortable walking shoes.
・Please note that the worship area and experience content may be subject to change due to temple events, etc.
・The tour will be held rain or shine. However, if the weather becomes dangerous, the tour may be cancelled.

After booking is complete, we will send you an email with the meeting place and important information.
On the day, please arrive at the front of Miidera Temple about 10 minutes before the event.
The training experience will be guided according to the age and physical strength of the participants.
Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please contact us before departure in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations 8 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
- For cancellations made 2 to 7 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 30% will apply
- For cancellations made 1 to 1 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 40% will apply
- Cancellation is not allowed between 0–0 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
- Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
