The short one-hour boat trip begins with the sound of a gong during the departure ceremony. It seems that anyone who wishes can try striking the gong. Along the way, there is a singing and dancing performance, and at the end, instruments are handed out to the passengers, and everyone can participate in playing along with the singing and dancing of the ladies and gentlemen. The time flies by. The explanations of the scenery from the ship and the highlights of the ship were also easy to understand.
The long-awaited MIHO Art Museum finally opened to the public today! The architecture felt like stepping into a fairytale wonderland. I couldn't help but use my eyes and heart to feel every line, every shift in light and shadow, and every unexpected moment around every corner. The chirping of birds filled the air, and I took a few deep breaths, feeling completely immersed in the rich phytoncides of a forest. The exhibition halls were also meticulously designed, complemented by detailed audio guides. This is definitely a place worth visiting again.
We went as a family. It was a lovely experience walking around and ziplining amidst the bright, cool weather and flowers during Golden Week. What made me happiest was that the guide was excellent at teaching, and everyone was having fun, chatting with each other, and enjoying themselves together.
I really wanted to visit Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan, and I had a comfortable and enjoyable trip. I also visited the historic Sanzen-in Temple, where the garden was so beautiful and peaceful that it calmed my mind. The guide provided explanations in both English and Chinese, and was very kind and dedicated, even holding the hand of an older customer when they got off the bus.
I used this cable car on my way back from climbing Mount Hiei. I was so impressed to see Chikubu Island and Mount Hakusan from here. It was a very retro-feeling cable car.
