A magnificent view right next to the sea. It's rare to find a castle overlooking the ocean. The weather in Karatsu seems to change quickly, so you're lucky if it's sunny when you go.

This time, I took my family on a trip to Kyushu, Japan, and we specially arranged a one-day customized car rental. The overall experience was excellent! Customer service responded quickly after I placed the order and proactively contacted me to confirm our itinerary needs, which made the communication process very reassuring. The actual experience was also great; the driver was friendly, and the itinerary was highly flexible. Traveling with elderly relatives was completely stress-free, and compared to transferring and rushing around on our own, hiring a car was so much easier and more convenient. Overall, it was a very convenient and comfortable experience for family trips, a truly worthwhile experience, and I would recommend it to anyone planning a family trip!

We rented a Toyota Alpha 7. With five adults, the trunk comfortably held one large and one small suitcase plus two carry-on bags. Although it's a 7-seater, the last row would be too cramped for three adults; it was perfect for two. The first row had the driver and one passenger seat, the second row had two individual passenger seats (with power-adjustable backrests and footrests), and the third row had bench seats (the left and right backrests could recline individually, but they would obstruct the luggage compartment, so they could only be reclined slightly). Our driver, Mr. Vincent, was very familiar with the routes, the ticket purchase process for attractions, and the parking and meeting points, explaining everything clearly. He also answered calls promptly when contacted via Line, which made us feel very reassured and allowed us to enjoy our trip! The route from Kurokawa Onsen to Takachiho Gorge was beautiful! The driver took us along scenic routes, slowing down to allow us to take photos when we saw beautiful scenery (of course, only when it was safe to do so), for which I was very grateful! It was a happy and worry-free trip, and I highly recommend it for families traveling with elderly people or children. We will definitely hire a car for another trip if we have the opportunity!

Strawberries were in season and very sweet; it was fun picking and eating them as we went. The boatmen on the Yanagawa River sang songs, and the riverside scenery was decent, but the weather was great. The eel rice was delicious. Finally, we had two hours to shop at the outlet mall.
