Oze National Park

Getting to Oze National Park from Tokyo is convenient. The journey takes approximately 3 hours and 35 minutes. You can take a train to Jomo-Kogen Station, then transfer to a bus heading towards Numata Station. From Numata Station, further bus connections are available to Oze Tokura, followed by a shuttle to the trailhead at Hatomachitoge Pass.

The ideal time to visit Oze National Park depends on your preferences. Generally, late spring to early autumn offers pleasant weather. June and September are often recommended for a good balance of favorable weather and fewer crowds. Spring is wonderful for wildflowers and waterfalls, while fall provides crisp air and beautiful foliage, though higher elevations might experience cooler temperatures.
