Meotoiwa (Married Couple Rocks)

The itinerary was relaxed yet packed with activities, covering many places. Our tour guide, Xiao Cui, was very helpful in taking photos for everyone. The all-you-can-eat seafood meal was delicious and highly recommended!

Our tour leader, Xiao Cai, was very professional, although he admitted to being nervous as it was his first day leading a tour. He was considerate of our needs, adjusting the sightseeing locations to avoid crowds and ensuring we visited all the attractions smoothly and on time. The only slight disappointment was with the Liuchuan River; I expected the riverbanks to be lined with cherry blossoms during cherry blossom season, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I wonder why? I visited the river many years ago, and this revisit gave me a different experience. The boatman, Ken, was relatively young and sang several songs, bringing joy to the passengers and diligently completing the tour. The entire trip was enriching, and the time management was excellent—kudos!

The timing for each attraction is perfect, so I recommend this tour.

Our group of 8 visited: 1) Ise Grand Shrine (2 hours was too short, as there was much to do; 3 hours or more would be more suitable), 2) Mikimoto Pearl Island (the time allotted was sufficient), and 3) Meoto Iwa (Wedded Rocks), a rather disappointing spot. It was windy and cold by the sea. Because of the two rocks, only two shops were open on Sunday, so no one in our group took photos, and we returned to Nagoya early. This itinerary was quite good; if the time allotted were adjusted, it would be well worth the trip.

Our tour leader, Xiao Xie, drove smoothly and provided appropriate introductions to the sights; overall, it was excellent! Perfect for families with elderly members—a hassle-free trip! Luckily, we all had great, punctual members! 👍
