Although we had to rent a car because there was no public transportation, it was an experience I don't regret at all. Since we needed to rent a car anyway to visit the Attack on Titan Museum, Oyama Dam, and Eren's Grave, I think including Forest Adventure Okuhita in our itinerary was a really good decision. You can rent sneakers or buy gloves, so you don't need to bring anything extra. They play instructional videos in Korean, and a male staff member kindly provided Korean guidance using a translator, so it was no problem at all even if you don't speak Japanese. The experience itself was very enjoyable, and I liked that there was a wide variety of things prepared. However, the highlight was the videos and photos we received after the experience. Looking at the photos and videos taken with various angles and staging, my friend and I laughed until we cried. Thank you for creating unforgettable memories, and if I have the chance again, I would like to visit again. At this price, with this level of experience, photos, videos, and memories, it is the best value for money. I can't attach the photos because I'm a little embarrassed, but they took them so wonderfully. If anyone is hesitating, I recommend you just go without hesitation. Thank you so much!
Our morning itinerary was too early; the shops in Hita Old Town weren't open yet. Our guide, Xiao Li, took us to Beppu Hell first, then we explored the area back. Surprisingly, almost no shops were open in Hita Old Town on a weekend afternoon 😅. There were only six of us in the group that day, and the minibus was very comfortable, with just enough space for everyone to put their souvenirs. Our guide, Xiao Li, was very thoughtful; he helped us arrange a comfortable itinerary, recommended local food and specialties, and even helped us carry our souvenirs.
