Blue Cave

Emma No.1 is surprisingly from the same hometown and lives very close by, haha! Overall, it was great, and my friend who accompanied me also had a lot of fun. See you tomorrow, haha!

Our snorkeling trip coincided with a typhoon. Although the typhoon didn't actually make landfall, the Japanese authorities closed the Blue Cave, prohibiting snorkeling and diving. So we went to a nearby beach instead. The water there was very calm and safe, which reassured us, although it was a little disappointing! Our family of five, three of whom can't swim, had signed up for a group snorkeling trip, but due to insufficient participants, it became a private tour. The instructor explained the activity entirely in Chinese, providing very clear instructions. He had us change into our wetsuits and then led us to the shore, carefully demonstrating how to wear masks and use snorkels. Even non-swimmers shouldn't be too nervous; he guided us while we held onto the float. The process was actually very easy. The water was very calm, and the depth wasn't great; we could touch the bottom in most areas, so we weren't afraid. Later, we just let go and swam easily! The water was very clean, and we saw many different kinds of fish. The instructor even gave us some bait to feed them! He took photos and videos throughout the trip and sent them to us later! I can't swim, but this was my third time snorkeling, and I felt it was perfect for beginners. Although I'm not sure about the actual conditions at Green Cave, based on my experience, snorkeling is a very relaxing activity with no need to be nervous or afraid! Thank you to the instructor for leading the way; my family and I had a great time! ☺️

Great, everything was great. The sea in Okinawa was much better than in Xiaoliuqiu. The coach's teaching was clear and easy to understand.

First of all, if you can speak English or Japanese, the course will be much easier and you'll be able to converse with the instructor, making it even more fun. Although we were both fluent in English, and had to carry on the conversation with our limited English skills, the instructor explained things step by step, so it wasn't difficult. The weather was also great, so the pictures the instructor took with his action camera turned out beautifully.

Due to the weather, the Blue Cave -> Jane Beach snorkeling was changed, but I received a KakaoTalk message in advance regarding the change and was able to receive a quick response. All the staff were so friendly 乃 (thumbs up) Afterwards, soba and onigiri were served for dinner, which was delicious because they were freshly made (the shrimp tempura was piping hot). We also ordered beer and had a drink ~ Wow~ The amazing view while eating is a bonus! I want to use it again if I visit again! Thanks to you, I was able to have a pleasant trip. I hope you prosper! Cons: After snorkeling, the shower room is open, so you have to splash yourself with water while wearing your swimsuit and change clothes in the private changing room ~ I think it's better to wear a shorter swimsuit rather than a long one so that it's easy to put on and take off the wetsuit!

The entire trip is guided by a Chinese-speaking instructor, so there won't be any language issues. Instructor Una is very fun, and the snorkeling experience is anything but boring; highly recommended. However, please note that if the weather is bad, they won't go to the Green Cave, but will instead go to a closer area (where there are many fish!). If you really want to go to the Green Cave, it's recommended to sign up in April or May when there's no northeast monsoon.
