  • During weekends and long holidays, the coach bus can only stop at the Tai Yang Parking Lot due to traffic control. Travellers are required to pay for and take the public shuttle up to Jiufen (NT$15 per ride)
  • Amei Tea House Experience: travellers cannot request specific seats and might have to queue on-site to be seated depending on the crowdedness of the day. The experience time will be based on the guide's arrangement on the day
  • Jiufen is made up of stairs and the tour involves a lot of walking and climbing up the steps. Please take the fitness of the elderly or mobility-impaired travellers into consideration before signing up 
  • Tipping is encouraged. It is a gesture recognised around the world and is an encouragement and compliment to the tour leader, guide and driver. Travellers can tip according to the quality of the service provided in the tour
