  • For those who want to try mountain biking but don't know how to ride, or who own a bike but have never ridden it in the mountains, Northstar offers a basic lesson program based on the International Mountain Bicycling Association's instructor certification program, with some unique additions.

Regarding cancellation of the event:

  • If rainfall on the day or the day before causes deterioration of trail conditions, or if we determine that riding may damage the trail, we may cancel the entire lesson or tour, or half of the day, to protect the trail.

Please note the following when participating in this course:

  • ・Participants must be in the fourth grade of elementary school or above and able to pedal a bicycle standing up. (Elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.) ・The guide will make the final decision on which course to ride, taking into consideration the participant's skill level, weather, course conditions, etc. Please note that personal safety is the most important factor in MTB lessons/guided tours.

Reminders

  • Participant age: 9 to 100 years old

  • About clothing and belongings: Please wear comfortable clothing.

  • Rental equipment: We offer SHRED bikes from the Canadian mountain bike brand KONA as rental bikes. This model features a sturdy, lightweight aluminum frame developed for dirt jumping, combined with a 100mm front fork and disc brakes, making it easy for beginners to ride, but also enjoyable for intermediate and advanced riders.

  • Minimum number of participants: 1 person

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations 31 day(s) (inclusive) before the selected date are allowed. Unused orders can be canceled for free
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–30 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy.
