— Introduction to Izu Peninsula —

Explore the Izu Peninsula, known for its beautiful natural scenery and abundant hot springs, making it a top destination for both domestic and international tourists. Reach Izu Plateau from Tokyo in about two hours via the Izu Yueko, with a free transfer from Izu Plateau Station to the campsite, taking around two hours. The transfer is quick, reaching the site in just 10 minutes. Visit the 3-kilometer cherry blossom boulevard, Izu-Kogen Sakurami, near Izu-Kogen Station. Lined with 600 cherry trees, including Great Cold Sakura and Somei-Yoshino Sakura, the boulevard creates a stunning cherry blossom tunnel from late March to early April.

Discover other famous cherry blossom spots on the Izu Peninsula, such as Sakura no Sato at the foot of Mount Omuro, named one of Japan's "Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots." Just a 2-3 minute drive or 20-minute walk from the campsite, this park features 1,500 cherry trees across 4 hectares, blooming from mid-September to mid-May. See the early-blooming Izu Kawazuzakura in Kawazu Town, with 8,000 trees blooming from February to early March.
