It's very suitable for travelers who don't rent a car. The car will drive directly to the vicinity of the hotel. Just wait in the hotel lobby and the tour guide will come to pick you up by name. There is no need to go to another meeting place. This is great. From the beginning of the journey, the tour guide will introduce the attractions along the way and information about Miyako Island in Japanese. The time arranged for each attraction is also very suitable. It won't be rushed or too boring. Currently, there are only two plans for a one-day tour of Miyako Island. It would be even better if there were more one-day or half-day plans.
I've been to Okinawa several times, and my first island hopping trip started near Naha. Tokashiki Island is definitely worth a visit, and the KKDAY package with boat and shuttle service is very convenient. My son and I didn't snorkel, but just hanging out on the beach was plenty. The nearby guesthouses also rent swimming rings, masks, life jackets, and more—everything you need. Walking down the beach to the large rocky area, I was pleasantly surprised to see hermit crabs.
I feel that the cruise vacation is good, with food, entertainment and sleep, it is a good choice for the elderly and children. The entertainment facilities are good, mainly for listening to music and relaxing, accompanied by wonderful performances. Three days and two nights, it is really hard to leave. So I will take a longer cruise vacation if I have the opportunity in the future. Overall, I am very satisfied.
I was a little worried about going alone, but the guide was very friendly and I had a great time. I was able to see a huge coconut crab and hear the owls up close, which was very satisfying. The guide was also very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. He not only explained about the creatures, but also the Ryukyu limestone, stalactites, and coral fossils, so I also learned about the history of Ishigaki Island. Apparently, encountering snakes is quite rare, so if you're worried, don't worry. Since we were in the forest, I was worried about getting bitten by mosquitoes, but apparently there weren't any. It wasn't a problem even without insect repellent. It was night, but it was hot, so light clothing should be fine. They provide flashlights and boots.
There are a few Koreans and a mix of Chinese and Westerners. There are also a few Japanese people. The explanations are given in Japanese, but there are Korean, Chinese, and English translations written in a sketchbook-like material. The course goes around several times and lunch is provided (the taste is just okayㅜㅜ I ate it on the boat and got seasick so I drank it by mistake). The explanations are kind and there is a course that goes down to the deep sea. I went up early because my ears hurtㅜ They went down deep into the sea and took great pictures with a GoPro. If you are lucky, you can see sea turtles, but the water is deep so you can see them from far away.
